NC A&T Eco Car at The Shell Eco Marathon Ranked #3 
NCA&T Eco team competed in the Shell Eco-Marathon competition that was held in Fontana, CA - April 15-18, 2009. The team designed and built a hydrogen fuel cell car to compete in the prototype group. The team ranked #3 in this group, their car achieved 1074 Mile per gallon.
The team started working on the car from the fall semester of 2008 to April 15, 2009. This is a senior design project (3 credit hours in the fall semester and 3 credit hours in the spring semester).
Our future goals is to build a much more efficient car (2000 MPG).

Lockheed Martin STARS Workshop (Mar 13-14, 2009)
Approximately 50 students braved the rainy weekend to attend the Lockheed Martin STARS Workshop that was held in McNair Hall.
